Conversation Strategies

Conversation strategies can help you speak more naturally and spontaneously.  But, what is a conversation strategy? Well, it’s a group of expressions and phrases that give me the tools to sound more real. The Touchstone Books have many conversation strategies. Go to the red or the blue book, you are going to find 12 different conversation strategies in all the lessons C, you can also find conversation strategies in Top Notch books. TIP: Get some flashcards, you can write 3 conversation strategies in each flashcard, example: “Reacting to a story” (name), “I bet…” (Example). The idea is to carry some flashcards with the conversation strategies you like the most and have them with you all the time so that you can review them and use them in everyday conversations. (This is not only for students of Basic courses, Skills and Challenge courses can also use this TIP.

Es un grupo de expresiones y frases que me dan las herramientas necesarias para sonar más real. Los libros de Touchstone tienen muchas estrategias de conversación, si ves los libros podrás encontrar en todas las lecciones C una estrategia diferente, también puedes encontrar estrategias en los libros Top Notch. TIP: Consigue unas memo fichas, puedes escribir hasta thres estrategias en una sola memoficha, por ejemplo: la estrategia llamada “reacting to a story” y un ejemplo como “I bet…”. Puedes cargar tus memo fichas fácilmente a todas partes y practicar las estrategias a toda hora. Esta recomendación es para estudiantes de todos los niveles.
